Focal Tenant was founded in 2015.  John L. Peteet is an Atlanta native who has tremendous pride in seeing his hometown grow and flourish. He enjoys helping companies and individuals in the community and elsewhere to succeed in every facet of their business.

After graduating with a degree in Real Estate from Georgia State University, John began his commercial real estate career in 2006. At first, he was primarily focused on business development and gaining transactional experience.  By 2012, John had secured his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation having successfully transacted a qualifying portfolio of experience and completing the program’s extensive educational courses.

Today, John is on the board of directors with the CCIM Georgia Chapter and a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. These organizations not only help him to maintain industry relationships but are also community conscious groups providing great opportunities for John to serve others through volunteer organizations.

Away from work, John enjoys spending time with his family & friends whenever possible. His love of photography and technology has led him into aerial media ventures utilizing drones and digital cameras for capturing footage of real estate or nature.
